What educators are saying

This was a great project for my 6th grade world history class. They enjoyed the hands-on activity, and the finished products looked very nice. It fit well into our study of India.

Description

This is a beautiful 50 piece puzzle representing one of the most well-known structures in the world – the Taj Mahal. Students love working together to build something ‘real’ especially once they have learned a little bit about the building and its story. The puzzle is simple. Students can easily figure out where to place each piece. However, it does require some patience and attention.

I created these puzzles for my unit on construction. I thought it would be a great way to get students thinking about the different elements that come together to create a structure. The puzzles also draw students’ attention to various shapes and to patterns of symmetry.

This pack includes: an introduction, a Taj Mahal fact sheet, a finished copy, 1 small puzzle (8.5" X 11"), 1 large puzzle (17" X 22"), a basic construction guide and background sheets.

I hope your kids love it!
