中文TPRS Movie Talk The Balcony Girl - IC L16约会单元课件

This Cecelia - The Balcony Girl short film mini unit is everything you need to use TPRS, CI, or story telling to enhance your Dating Unit. The vocabulary and grammar (potential complement, resultative complement) used in this mini unit is perfect if you happen to teach Integrated Chinese Lesson 16 Dating (约会). 

This unit package has been tested by multiple teachers in different contexts and their students love it!  It's a perfect short film to motivate learning especially before the break.

I have given a lesson plan that is three days (four if you include the assessment), but it can be shortened or extended to suit your needs. 

All of the files are PDF and PPT/ WORD so you can edit if you need. The fonts may not be as pretty on PPT or WORD depending on fonts you have downloaded.

--> The Balcony Girl PPT - includes essential slides you need to teach the movie unit. i designed this unit for my Mandarin 3 students which I teach Integrated Chinese Lesson 16 约会, but it can be tailored to other levels. This PPT also includes a word wall game link. 

--> The Balcony Girl Reading - the story that I wrote to describe the movie in segments. This design will reduce students' cognitive loads to read long texts. This can be used for first-time reading as well as re-reading activities: unscramble the story. 

--> Story Narration Oral Rubric - I designed 2 assessments for this unit, but the possibilities are endless! One of them is a speaking assessment. This rubric is for the speaking assessment.
