This activity involves students analyzing a paycheck stub/earnings statement in order to get a better understanding of it. Students will be given information about the pay period and tax amounts and asked to fill out a paystub. This activity involves students using a paycheck stub/earnings statement to respond to questions dealing with how they get paid, taxes and other deductions taken out of pay, benefits, miscellaneous job expenses, budgeting, direct deposit, etc. This is a great activity for students to do in a Personal Finance or Business/Consumer Math course, etc.
