Description
These print and go worksheets are the perfect supplemental resource for students learning syllable division within VCCV, V/CV, VC/V, and -cle syllables.
This download includes:
25 no prep worksheets targeting
- VCCV & VCCCV syllables with short vowels (closed syllables), y as e, magic e/silent e, vowel teams, and r-controlled vowels
- V/CV and VC/V syllables (open vs. closed first syllables)
- consonant -le syllables
There are two variations of worksheets. Both worksheets involve both reading and spelling practice.
The worksheets can be placed in sheet protectors and given to early finishers for extra practice in literacy centers. They're also ideal for small groups and 1:1 tutoring sessions in any reading program or Orton-Gillingham aligned intervention. Fully aligned to the Science of Reading.
