Description

We used to value the person known for contemplation, but now we appreciate the person of action, says author Susan Cain in her passionate and thought-provoking TED Talk. Cain is a former attorney, lecturer, and alumni of both Princeton and Harvard Law School.

By focusing so much on the extroverts of society, we do introverts a disservice. The talk encourages people not to leave introverts and their valuable contributions behind.

This TED Talk viewing guide contains twelve detailed response questions, an answer guide that includes discussion points, engaging extension activity, and Common Core standards.
