This Video Hook has been created to engage students into the Math Mystery Story: Case of The Super Bad Superhero. This optional introduction to the activity will help create some excitement as students must become Math Detectives to solve this fun superhero themed case. If you prefer, a written story is provided within the PDF file.

This math mystery activity has been created in versions for Grades 1-6. Choose a grade level that suits your class best, or mix clues (same number clues and across grades 2-6 only) to differentiate the activity for your students.

Use as a classroom review activity, include in your math centers, leave for a sub, make them an early finisher task or set for homework assignments.
