Description
What Students Do
Over several weeks students keep a sunset journal. Students make observations of the Sun at sunset from a location in their neighborhood.
They draw a view of the horizon. Weekly they add the position of the Sun at sunset for each observation. They label the time and date of each observation.
At the conclusion of their observations, students interpret the results of their work.
