Sunrise / Sunset -- Trigonometry Project

This project needs to be assigned / completed before you teach them how to graph the sine and cosine functions. It can be used for everyone, even middle school students (though they wouldn’t be doing it for the sine / cosine aspect). Maybe I’m “old-school”, but I like to have my students do the first part of this project without any access to the Internet. The second part of the project requires them to research, so I would allow them to do that online.
