Summer Still Life Image Bundle Middle School Art and High School Art

This bundle gives students choice and the perfect way to help middle school or high school art students.

Students practice drawing from observation, color mixing, and layering.

There are over 120 images in this bundle. 4 images per sheet.

Different ways to incorporate still life images into your art curriculum:

• Color Art Supplies: These still life images are designed for students to use with any art supply. Teachers can use these images in a variety of ways. Can be used to in a art lesson to teach color pencil, oil pastels, chalk pastels, or paint.
• Black and White Art Supplies: If printed in black and white students can use the images to practice using graphite, pen or charcoal art supplies.
• Cropping their own image: Have student use viewfinders to crop their own image and make it their own.

• Art Sub Plans: Students can choose an image and complete in the drawing in their sketchbooks.
• Extra Credit: assign a desired number of still life drawings to be completed for extra credit during the unit.
• Sketchbook Assignment: Can be used for a sketchbook homework assignment.
• Artist Study: Art lesson where students pick a still life image and complete it in the style of an artist.

Minimal Prep and can be used over and over again!

Step 1: Print. (Print each page, I prefer card stock)

Step 2: Laminate.

Step 3: Cut out. (I always have the kids do this part as a early finishers activity)

Step 4: Have students use them for their project.
