✱✱ To work on expressive language, too, with this deck, just ask students about 1) what is happening in the scene, 2) pose various WH- questions about actions and attributes or anything else that comes to mind, 3) work on describing elements of the scene, or 4) simply ask what the characters are doing/wearing/feeling, etc. The scenes lend themselves to lots of fun discussion!
