The activity sheets in this SUMMER OT PACKET are perfect for summer therapy sessions or to send home with students for carrying over therapy activities at home over the summer!

The ICE CREAM Packet of SUMMER OT ACTIVITIES includes the following activity sheets:

GROSS MOTOR ACTIVITIES

• Movement Spinners - 2 Spinners with movement activities. 1 with Static Postures for core strength & stability & 1 with Dynamic Activities for motor planning, endurance & coordination.
• Motor Maze - Follow 6 paths from top to bottom. Each colored path has 3 motor activities to complete to get from the start to the finish spot! Use small objects or game pieces to lead students through completing a variety of gross motor activities! Perfect for a motor warm up, to monitor skill progress, as a sensory motor activity, or as a brain/body break!

FINE MOTOR ACTIVITIES

• Finger Wiggle Activity - 3 different shape cards, each including small images. Cut them out, then have students work on fine motor manipulation and dexterity skills! Call out an image, then have student 'wiggle' their fingers around the card to land a finger on the image. For example, call out "green popsicle" and student will 'wiggle' fingers around the card until their thumb (or other designated finger) is on the green popsicle!
• Fill the Dots Activity - Have students place small objects on the circles on each picture! Items such as play-doh balls, coins, stickers, small erasers, or more can be used to work on fine motor skill development! Increase the visual motor demand by having students color in the circles, draw pre-writing forms and shapes, letters, or words into each small circle!

VISUAL PERCEPTUAL ACTIVITIES

• Find the Same Activity - Work on visual spatial skills by identifying each image that is oriented in the same direction, then use visual motor skill to either color the images that are the same, or draw a shape or letter in the image! So many ways to grade this VP activity!
• Find the Different Activity - Work on visual spatial skills by identifying each image that is oriented in the opposite/ different direction, then use visual motor skill to either color the images that are oriented differently, or draw a shape or letter in the image! So many ways to grade this VP activity!
• Count & Color Activity - More visual perceptual skill practice with this activity sheet! Students will scan the page and count the number of each image! Use the box provided to write the number above each image!
• Picture Maze - Follow the path! Find the same image and color each one if they are adjacent to each other! Color each one to make a path from the start of the maze to the finish!

VISUAL MOTOR ACTIVITIES ✏️

• Trace & Write Activities (3 levels) - Work on visual motor skills by tracing each image! Then write the word below! There are 3 levels - upper-case, lower-case, and free writing (no model)!
• Coloring Maze Activity - Follow the maze from start to finish! When you get to an image, color it in!
• Spin & Color Activity - Using a small pencil and paper clip, create the spinner! Each time you spin, color an image with that number!

HANDWRITING ACTIVITIES

• Letter Box Writing Activity - Practice letter size, height, and formation! Find where each word belongs, then write the word in the letter box that it fits in! Color the pictures when done!
• Roll & Write Activity - Such a versatile handwriting activity! Roll a die! Grade the activity... either write the starting letter, write the word, or write a sentence that includes the word!
• Blank Handwriting Paper - Used this themed midline ruled handwriting paper with the Roll & Write Activity or for any other summer-themed writing task! Enjoy!
• Unscramble & Write Activity - Unscramble the word, then write it on the line!
