Fun Stuff, Brain Breaks, Supplemental Activities, and more! Freeze dances are flexible and can be part of your every day lessons. Elementary students need to move their bodies regularly to stay attentive and even sane during the school day.

Not sure how gifs work and want to test it out first? Check out my FREE Carnival freeze dance!

  • Surfer Girl - Bend at your hips
  • Watermelon - Jump jack

  • Ice Cream Truck - Roll your arms

What is a GIF? A GIF is an image file made up of several frames to create movement from frame to frame.

For the GIFs to work, the PowerPoint must be in slideshow/presentation mode. Once in slideshow mode, you can progress through each slide and the images will “play” automatically.”

What are the freeze slides?

The “Freeze” slides are used for transitions to the next type of movement. You can use the Freeze slides to see everyone’s current funny poses, use them for refocusing, or take out the freeze slides altogether.

What songs should I use?

Use anything that you think could be relevant to your lesson, brain break, or other activities! Music doesn’t even need to be used at all!

What if I want the presentation to be longer?

You can always copy and paste the slides at the end so the presentation starts all over again.
