Description

Engage your students on the last days of school with this fun 6th-grade math activity. Capture the excitement of summer with this no-prep critical thinking camping-themed digital escape room. Great to use in Summer School or as test prep!

Students will explore ratios, area of a triangle, relationships of quantities, and expressions and equations. Students will persevere to solve problems. This puzzle works great for Early Finishers, Enrichment or a fun class activity in May, June, July or August.

EASY TO USE! To play, just save a copy of the Google Slides and assign through Google Classroom with just a few clicks! Share as "material" or email a link to students. No prep is necessary! Students will view the slideshow in present mode and record answers on their printed answer sheets. An Early Finisher Activity is provided and can be printed on the back of the answer sheet.

Mystery: Which hazard do you need to watch out for when you camp?

14 Google Slides walk students through the mystery. First, students solve 27 math problems within 5 clues. They interpret a pigpen cipher, solve a color code and more to find 5 pieces of information. Then, students read through the "survival guide" to use their clues and eliminate natural threats. In the end, students are left with only one possibility.
