Subtraction Facts with Timed Tests for Subtraction Fluency

How it Works:

• Once the students have mastered using the flash cards, they will take a one-minute, timed test.
• There are 20 problems on each page.
• The facts the student masters will be highlighted on their tracking page.
• The facts not highlighted will be the focus during RTI time, homework, and partner activities.
• Set up the process so that the volunteer or TA can manage it independently.
• Focus on those students who lack mastery in basic facts, so that they can achieve success in smaller, but equally important steps.
• House the students flash cards and tracking page in a pocket folder that features a student-decorated cover. Everything is in one place!
