If you're looking to teach Chris Crutcher's novel, Ironman, look no further than this study unit. I've included absolutely everything you will need to create a fun and productive classroom environment. Included in this unit, you will find: A suggested reading calendar, teacher lesson plans, a vocabulary list, study guides (for every chapter), quizzes (for every chapter), in-class activities, project descriptions (for the Ironman Competition), an essay prompt, journal entries (for every chapter), and a test (10 multiple choice, 10 true/false, 20 matching, and three essay prompts). All answer keys and rubrics are provided. In addition to the PDF and Power Point documents, I've throw in two rounds of Ironman Jeopardy! that were created using Smart Notebook technology. Also, all activities are common core aligned. The state standards are included on the daily lesson plan. Enjoy!
