Student & Kid Friendly WIDA Rubric: Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening

This PDF resource includes all six of the WIDA English language proficiency levels from entering-reaching. They are written in a student & kid friendly format with pictures and color coded levels. An EDITABLE version is included as well! This resource would be great to hang in your room, blow up into posters, give to classroom teachers that you work with, and use to conference with EL students one-on-one to help them better understand their current language proficiency level and the expectations of each level. These pages are made based on the language used in the WIDA interpretive guide, but reworded and scaled down to make them more student friendly and easily comprehensible for non ESL teachers.
