What educators are saying

My students enjoy these hands on activities. They are easy to understand and use within the instructional setting. This topic can be difficult for special needs students, but I was able to adapt the lesson to meet all needs.

Description

This interactive notebook foldable is designed to teach the basic structure of the atoms and how to read elements on the periodic table. It aligns with NGSS 5-PS1-1: develop a model to describe that matter is made of particles too small to be seen. Easy to follow teacher directions are included for each activity as well as any definitions, answers, and examples needed to teach the lesson. Simply print and copy for a few easy lessons on atoms!
