String Bean Lab Report

Planting is the perfect unit to do in the spring where you can get everyone excited to take part in science and math!

For this observation report, you will need string beans, a bucket of water and unifix cubes. Students will observe what the bean will look like, predict and observe if it sinks or floats, and measure the bean. Students will then draw a picture of their bean at the bottom of the report.

After filling out the lab report, my students picked the seeds out of the beans and planted them!
