Description
The use of art allows children and teens to explore their feelings, experiences and emotions in a safe way. Everyone experiences stress at one point or another! In this group we ask participants to take a step back from their busy lives, de-stress and relax! Using the power of creative expression we will be exploring different coping tools and create a safe space to share, grow, and support one another!
Group Objectives
- Participants will understand the nature of stress and its impact on health and behaviour.
- Participants will be able to recognize the stressors and signs of stress in their own lives.
- Participants will Create various relaxation methods to reduce muscle tension related to stress.
- Participants will leave with coping skills they can integrate into their daily lives.
