Description

Stories Alive! is a multi-workshop lesson plan utilizing two wonderful fairytale stories: “Baba Yaga and Vasalisa The Brave” and “The Mightiest Heart.” Both include audio recordings of the stories read by theater professional, Kristine Waters is a veteran performing arts, teaching artist, originally trained by Lincoln Center artists in the mid-90’s. Her Masters in Education focused on Collaborative Educational Leadership. She is a professional actor with tremendous background and training in a variety of theatrical genres and forms. She has performed before students as a storyteller, solo performing artist, and with children’s theater ensembles.
