Description

Perfect for thanksgiving, fairy tales, or food themes, these math and literacy activities and games align with Stone Soup and will keep your students engaged. This Stone Soup activity set will target skills such as graphing, counting, vocabulary, one to one correspondence, emergent reader, sight words, and uppercase and lowercase alphabet matching. If you are looking for an academically and common core based set of activities for Stone Soup, look no further!

This Stone Soup unit includes the following:

** Stone Soup Emergent Reader" Students will read "I Can Share" statements on each page and provide the number of each given vegetable.

** Spin and Graph w/ Follow Up Sheet: Spin the spinner and graph the number of each vegetable spun. Finally, use your graph to draw the vegetables in your own stone soup pot. Afterwards, count how many of each and write the number to complete the statements.

** Text-To-Self Connections Sheet: Write/Dictate/Draw to make connections based on the theme of sharing.

** A Set of 22 I Have Who Has Cards for Stone Soup featuring vegetables and ingredients in the soup

**Stone Soup Roll and Color-Matching vegetables and upper/lowercase letters

**Stone Soup slips to send home with your students when making stone soup as a class
