What educators are saying

Every product I have purchased from Teamwork Toolbox has been exactly as described and very easy to implement and furthermore, the products are well received by my students and they actually work!!
Some of the kids were having trouble with stoich and this helped them have a visual while they were working problems.

Description

Over the years I've found this map, complimentary worksheets, and colored pencils are the BEST way for students to master 1, 2, and 3 step stoichiometry problems. The map will help with a variety of stoichiometry problems such as mass to mass, mole to mole, volume to volume, molecules to molecules, and any combination of units they might see in this unit.

Each worksheet features 7 unique one, two, and three step stoichiometry problems including moles to mass, mole to mole, volume to molecules, molecules to molecules, liters to formula units, etc. Students will use the map colors to shade the given & unknown, identify the number of steps, set up and solve.

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:

✅Stoichiometry Maps
*A Full Detailed map with conversion math shown (1 Color, 1 Black & White)
*A Less Detailed map with the "Tool" needed for each step (1 Color, 1 Black & White)

✅Conversions Wkst #1 (7 Problems)
*Editable Student Worksheet (Word File)
*Editable Full Color Answer Key (Word File) with all Answers & Complete solutions using dimensional analysis
*PDF versions of worksheet and answer key

✅Conversions Wkst #2 (7 Additional Problems)
*Editable Student Worksheet (Word File)
*Editable Full Color Answer Key (Word File) with all Answers & Complete solutions using dimensional analysis
*PDF versions of worksheet and answer key

HOW STUDENTS USE THE MAP:
For my classes, I print and laminate 1 color map for each group, then have students shade their own black & white version using colored pencils. Students will soon master the conversions. Or you could save time and print them full color maps.

Early in the stoichiometry unit, we will use colored pencils (matched to the map colors) to shade the GIVEN and UNKNOWN units directly on the worksheet questions. Students then locate the GIVEN UNIT (where to start on the LEFT) and the UNKNOWN UNIT (where they will finish on the right). This will tell them:
*the # of steps
*what conversion "tool" to use
*what order to use each conversion "tool"
