States, Capitals, & Abbreviations Foldables {Interactive Notebook or Flashcards}

Help your students learn states, capitals, and abbreviations in a flash with this study guide that improves upon traditional states & capital flashcards! These foldables make fun and simple study center activities and great interactive study guides for homework practice. Give students all the states at once, or make it a game and challenge students to master the state/capital pages one by one, and watch how excited they get when they get to move on to the next foldable!

Print at 85% for interactive student notebooks (ISNs) or print full size on cardstock or colored paper for study guides that pop! No more lost state flashcards or spending hours creating flashcards.

Directions:
Print/copy all foldable pages back-to-back, in color or black & white (both options provided).
*If using these state, capital, abbreviation foldables with an interactive notebook, shrink the pages to 85%, and they will fit perfectly!

Cut the foldable around the outside (solid) lines.
Cut on the horizontal dotted lines on the right side of the pages to make your flaps. Fold the flaps inward to cover the capital and abbreviation answers.

Use as is, OR
attach to interactive student notebook (ISN) by
flipping the page over to the side with a rectangle. Follow the directions that say, ”Glue inside this rectangle.”
Leaving the flaps free to move, adhere page to student notebook.
