What educators are saying

Due to staffing shortages, I had to lesson plan for fifth grade social studies for a substitute. This was an engaging and effective end of the year activity that was easy for the sub to present.

Description

Get your students excited about social studies research projects with these fun and engaging U.S. travel brochures, rubrics, & checklists templates! These time-saving research travel brochures templates are detailed and organized. Students will build research & writing skills by working to create an easy-to-use trifold travel brochure. These trifold brochures have the 50 United States's name and shape on it.  Set 1 focuses on culture and Set 2 focuses on places of interest and facts.

Have your students gain real-world connections by using the digital and printable research guide before creating their travel brochure. Students can also build speaking and listening skills by using the peer evaluation form, speech outline, and key word list for the presentation option. The rubrics and checklists are available to customize. The print-and-go graphic organizers, postcards, website homepage drawing, and more can be added to enhance the project or for differentiated instruction.
