My students have been asking for this singing game over and over again! The activity is a fun, musical spin on the popular game, "Museum Keeper". The lyrics are actually in the form of a limerick, so it's a great opportunity to explore poetry as well. Recording Length 1:00

Game Instructions:

1 - Choose one child to be the leprechaun and another to be the "watcher"

2 - Ask remaining students to "strike a pose" and freeze

3 - The watcher will memorize the poses, and put their head down with eyes covered

4 - That's the cue for the teacher to start the music

5 - While the music is playing, the leprechaun will change the pose of only one student, and return to their place

6 - The teacher will pause the music at the end of the musical interlude between verses

7 - This is the cue for the watcher to look up and determine what change has been made

8 - The leprechaun and watcher switch places, and the game continues
