What educators are saying

I've used this resource for the past two years. St. Patrick's day is one of my students' favorite days of the year. They love unlocking the coins and having fun practicing skills in class.
This is an AMAZING resource and to go with one of the most fun holidays to celebrate at school makes it that much better. I love that students could rotate though ELA and math centers while learning and having fun.

Description

Do you want to do something different (and academic!) for your St. Patrick's Day party or centers? Cracking Lucky's Code is an engaging way to practice math, literacy, engineering, and science, and more! Your students will be highly motivated to complete the stations, earn pieces of Lucky's Loot, and crack the code to unlock St. Patrick's Day treats!

THE BIG IDEA

Lucky the Leprechaun has brought treats for your class.; however, he is being mischievous. In order for your students to get their treats, they will have to complete activities that earn them a piece of Lucky’s Loot. They will use the loot to crack the code, so they can get the combination to unlock the treats.

PLEASE NOTE

This is set up to do in person without COVID-19 precautions; however, we also provide activities and ideas to do this virtually which would also work in a classroom following COVID-19 safety measures. To do this virtually, you will need to send home all the supplies. We have included a label and suggestions on how to do this on each direction page. If your students do not have basic supplies at home (crayons, scissors, glue stick, etc.), you will need to send home those as well.
