Description

About This Resource:

  • This is a printable PDF set of task cards with recording sheets.
  • This works well as a center/file folder game for individuals or small groups.
  • Struggling students may want to use counters/cereal/candy/etc to add to each ten frame to find the answer.
  • Each card has answer choices. They can either be used to help guide students, or you can use clips/clothespins and ask students to place their clip on the answer.
  • There are extra cards that you can print to add math vocabulary, challenge questions, or other tasks to differentiate for students.

This resource includes:

  • 11 cards total, showing all combinations of 10 on a ten frame.
  • a few blank ten frame cards and a few blank task cards so you can differentiate to fit your students' needs. Print as many as needed.
  • A small and large directions card, as well as a blank one you can use to write your own directions for students.
  • 2 different recording sheets so you can use the one that is best for your students.
  • An answer key so students can self check when they complete the game.
  • This resource includes all combinations of 10: 0+10, 1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6, 5+5, 6+4, 7+3, 8+2, 9+1, 10+0.
  • If you are looking for a digital version of this to use on Google Slides, click here.

Directions:

  • Once your payment is processed, this PDF will be available to download.
  • Print, cut, and laminate for durability. This also makes them easy to wipe down and clean. :)
  • Use as a math center/file folder game.
  • I recommend placing the cards in a ziplock bag, along with a bag of counters/manipulatives, and a few clothespins so students can clip their answers on the cards. Students could also use St. Patrick's Day cereal or candy as a fun, festive manipulative to help them count up to 10.
