Description

No prep! Just print and hang. Students find solutions to square or cube equations at the bottom of the page and HUNT for the answer at the top of another. Students love these! There are 15 problems asking students to solve equations where they evaluate the square root of a perfect square or a cube root of a perfect cube.

How it works:

  • Starting at any page, students will answer the question at the bottom of the page.
  • They then "hunt" for the answer at the top of another page.
  • When they find the answer, they will find the answer to the problem on the bottom of that page.
  • They continue answering until they've found all 15 answers and get back to their starting page.

Use this resource for practice after a lesson, with students in pairs, or as early finisher work. It gets students up and moving as they solve problems.

A student recording sheet is included and an answer key allows you to check their work quickly and easily. I hope you and your students love this activity!
