Springtime and Easter

Students look up the German words for common springtime and Easter words and draw pictures. They do a word search for some of those terms, and they practice vocabulary and writing by completing sentences with correct verb forms. They also answer questions about their own Easter traditions in German.

In addition to vocabulary and writing practice, this 2 page worksheet provides opportunities for mini-lessons on traditions, grammar (articles, verb endings, etc.), dictionary skills, etc.

The product includes directions (in English), ideas for extensions and mini lessons, vocabulary lists, an answer key, and suggested answers for the writing parts. It also includes links to cultural resources about Easter traditions in Germany.
