Description

With this Spring and/or Easter activity, students will enjoy making a mystery picture while practicing addition and place value concepts. The picture for all versions is a cute white bunny with blue eyes and a pink nose.
There are three versions:
The easiest are problems in this format: __ tens __ ones (ex. 6 tens 7 ones = 67).
The next version has some of the __ tens __ ones problems, as well as expanded notation (60 + 7), using doubles, adding 10 (57 + 10).
The first two versions use the 1-120 number chart.
3. The more challenging version uses a number chart ranging from 300-420. It has problems such as these: 3 hundreds 6 tens 7 ones, 300 + 60 + 7, 267 + 100, 357 + 10.
