Description

Reinforce and practice addition word problems with this spring-themed pack of practice sheets! The pack includes 12 pages, each with a word problem requiring the addition of 3 addends. Each page includes the word problem, a space to represent the problem with a drawing, a number line to use to model the addition, and a box to write the equation and answer.

Students will be engaged by the spring-theme of these word problems (bunnies, baskets, eggs, candy, insects, carrots, chicks, etc.)! Simply print and copy the pages for a week or more of spring themed addition word problem practice!

A recording sheet is included as an option for using the problems as a center activity. Print the problems and then laminate or slip into a page protector for students to use during centers. Students work through problems using a dry erase marker and record their answers on the optional recording sheet. Save paper with this option! :)

Designed to address first Common Core math standard 1.OA.2, but would also work as an enrichment for Kindergarten or an intervention activity for second graders!
