Description
This Spring Math Mystery Differentiated Bundle contains all of the grade versions for the Case of the Bee Bandits available (Grades 1-6). This bundle is great if you need to differentiate within your classroom because the clues are interchangeable between the grade editions (except 1st Grade). You may also find this a good option to customize this math mystery to better suit your class.
Ideal for a seasonal spiral math review activity, enrichment, early-finishers, homework, or math center work.
EASY PREP, just prints and solve >> OR >> go paperless with the Google Slides option provided to use for Distance Learning. Your students can complete the Google Slides on their computer with the new editable text overlays that I've added on top of the original worksheets.
Use the video to introduce the activity in a fun way. After viewing, students must continue with the worksheets part of the activity to solve the case.

How long will this activity take?
Time to complete will vary anywhere between 30mins - 2 hours or more! It mainly depends on how familiar your students are with the math mystery format, as well as how difficult they find the math skills covered in the particular mystery. Please check the math skills outlined in the clues above to help determine suitability for your class. If attempting to solve all in one go, it can generally take up a good part of your school day. I highly recommend pacing this activity by giving students one clue at a time. Once the whole class has completed a clue, then move on to the next clue either within the same lesson or the next math session. New math content presented? Make a lesson out of it by modeling the math before diving into the clue. I like to say, "we must learn something new before attempting the next clue."
