What educators are saying

My students loved researching a destination that they would one day want to go on. They were amazed at how much this project taught them about other areas of the world. It was easy to print and for my students to complete independently.
Great resource to use with my students during our end of the year activities. They loved planning their own spring break trip! Thanks!

Description

This is a great way to get your students researching, writing, and presenting! Let students select a spring break destination within the United States. Using online resources or print material, have students research the destination.

Students can complete all or some of the sheets included:

*Locate the destination on a map

*Identify average temperatures during vacation period
*Determine the distance in miles

*Determine flight plans to and from the destination

*Determine lodging plans

*Plan a sight seeing adventure

*Create a packing list

*Determine the final cost of the trip

Students can staple the complete pages into a book, glue onto a poster board, or even glue to a presentation board (as shown in the photographs).

Allow students the opportunity to present their project to the class!

This activity requires very little prep!
