Description

Looking for a sports theme stamping center for literacy AND math? Look no further! This packet has 9 different sports themes that include:

  • Football
  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • Soccer
  • Hockey
  • Tennis
  • Bowling
  • Golf
  • Sports (all)

This is one of my kindergarteners favorite center because they love using the stamps and stamp pad. At the end, they get to color the pictures if they have time!

(I use the amazing- Deedee Wills' monthly stamping centers, so I created these sport themed ones for my students to go along with her same format. You can check out hers here: Stamping Center! Monthly Themes by Deedee Wills)

Helpful tips:

  • Be patient at first! The kids do make a little mess with the ink pads at first. But once they get the hang of the center, they will do better at keeping the table and themselves clean! =) Just remind them the appropriate ways to use the stamping center. (Make sure your stamp pads are washable!)
  • I replace the stamp pads every once in while to change up the color for them! That always gets them excited! I love using the cheap ones in the Target bins they sell periodically.
  • Get yourself a good set of alphabet stamps! I personally use the Lakeshore brand and keep them in the case so the kids can match the letters back into the case. (There's only been a few times I've had to fix it!) I use the lowercase ones for this center.
