Description

Spelling Buddies 20 Word Family Phonics Poems with Flipbooks

Spelling Buddies 20 Word Family Phonics Poems help students gain fluency in spelling and reading by emphasizing word families and decoding skills. Each poem focuses on one word family and contains ten words within the poem from that word family. Each word family has a flipbook for students to cut, staple and read.

Each poem is presented in two styles: 1) A style for reading with the ten words in the word family in bubbles in the margins, and 2) A worksheet style for students to write the words from the word family. The words from the word family are in bold in the poem with the phonograms underlined for easy recognition and emphasis.
