Description
Coordinate three years' worth of annual school-wide Spelling Bees with ease using this starter kit of fully customizable material. This product has been designed for middle school students, but can certainly be adapted to suit both elementary and high school levels.
Word List
-The kit features a list of 1,678 words that have been organized by difficulty level. Definitions have also been included for each word. The list begins with easy words, transitions to medium level words, and ends with difficult words. Familiar and commonly used words have been chosen for this list to ensure fairness while also providing a challenging spelling experience, encouraging students to rely on natural spelling instincts and cultivated skills. This list of words can be divided as needed to accommodate three years of Spelling Bee word lists.
Guidelines
-Basic rules and procedures for administering a Spelling Bee have been included. These guidelines are customizable to suit your school's specific needs.
Informational Letter for Parents
-This customizable letter provides all pertinent information regarding the Spelling Bee and can be sent home to parents of the competitors prior to the main event.
Event Programs
-Three years of event programs have been included in this kit, each year offering a new and different set of features. Also fully customizable, each program contains a greeting to the competitors, family, friends, and teachers in attendance. One panel of each program has also been set up to include the names of the competitors. Additional panels vary by year and feature interesting and fun spelling facts, poems, and puzzles.

-Each competitor can receive a formal invitation to the Spelling Bee event with relevant information regarding the time, date, and location. Along with the student invite is an invitation designed for the family and friends of the competitors. Again, both invitations can be customized to reflect the details of your school's event.
