What educators are saying

I love using this resource to help plan out long term goals for my students-- it helps me to think about what skills I need to build on before they transition to the next grade/school.
I love how this is aligned with common core and is easy to use. It helps to create and expand goals for students.

Description

Guides goals for students performing BELOW the content standards!

Do you have students who are currently performing much lower than the content standards? I created this document as a sort of “roadmap” to guide my students at this level, in order for us to be working towards reaching the content standards.

In this document, you will see the topic with goals ranging from least complex (on the left) to most complex (on the right) leading up the grade level standard.

*Please note: This document does not contain every content standard, only those that are most relevant to speech and language. The standards listed are taken from the 3rd grade level (for reference purpose). However, other grade levels contain similar standards you may reference. Topics covered in this resource include: expressive/receptive language, vocabulary, grammar, social/pragmatic, and articulation and fluency.

Here’s how I use this document:

1.Determine your student’s strengths and needs. Resources I use are my Curriculum-Based Language Assessments or Screening Toolkits.

2.Go to the corresponding topic and determine the level your student is currently performing at.

3.Write goals based on this level, linking it the standard while writing the IEP.

*Now offering discount bulk licenses (districts buying more than 10 individual licenses)! Please email me at nicoleallison@speechpeeps.com to find out if your district qualifies and for more information.
