Description

I spent a long time looking for Spanish journal prompts to give my 2nd grade dual language students as summer homework...unsuccessfully...so I decided to just make my own!

Included are 20 writing journal prompts appropriate for 1st-3rd grade. High school Spanish teachers might also find them useful for students just beginning to learn the language. The prompts range from very easy to ones that require a bit more creativity. Teachers can choose to print the pages as is, or have students cut and paste the prompts into a writing notebook they might have. They are presented in two formats.

I also included an editing checklist for beginning writers and a list of Spanish high frequency words. My own students keep these two tools in their writing folders; but they could also be easily stapled inside the front or back cover of a notebook.

I hope you find this product useful!
