Save time and gamify your class with our Spanish Digital Activities with Google (TM) Classroom to teach Spanish Family vocabulary. These Google Slides(tm) (also convertible to Powerpoint(tm)) have interactive vocabulary activities and games for La Familia. These are low prep and are perfect for a standard classroom, distance learning, in hybrid learning classrooms or as Spanish sub plans. Editable versions included to add your own slides!

This is essential vocabulary matches well with many major textbooks and can be used for comprehensible input activities. This list of 30 words and 21 puzzles is great for middle school, Spanish 1 or as review for upper level classes.

Agente Guacamole is called back into action! Students play the role of our favorite top avocado spy and decode a set of twenty-one word scrambles to find out the top secret of the enemy agents! Pre-game vocabulary exercises insure they know the words before playing. Use the creative writing extension activity to add more practice to your lesson plan.

Easily assigned on Google Classroom as homework, or played in class together, these digital activities make learning vocabulary fun!

A. Complete the Agent's Training by reviewing the master list and filling in the Agent's Notebook (matching exercises)

B. Solve the Puzzles and mark off words in the notebook. (Word puzzles)

1. STUDENT VERSION of the Agente Guacamole Google Slides(TM) GAME. This is the perfect version to assign as individual or group homework on Google Classroom (TM). This game has a story-line, vocabulary exercises and twenty-one word puzzles for students to solve. Students complete the exercises and solve the puzzles in EDIT mode on the Google Slide presentation. Graphics and most words are locked down to make game play easier and so students can not change slides inadvertently. Students earn prizes for the puzzles they complete and end the game with a final BONUS puzzle. Students can then turn in their work on Google Classroom. (Versions with Spanish instructions and a version with English instructions included.)

2. TEACHER VERSION of the Agente Guacamole Google Slides(TM) GAME. This is the same game as above (with the same puzzles) and is meant to be played in class together or via distance learning with the teacher sharing her screen. Play this version in PRESENTATION mode and have students write their answers on paper or in the chat during distance learning. This version includes additional animations and answers to the puzzles. If you assign the STUDENT VERSION as homework, use this version to go over answers together in class.

3. TEMPLATES: Many of the words can not be edited on the presentations. This is done intentionally to make game play easier for students. However, we understand you may want to add words or take away words in the puzzles. If you want to add words and make your own puzzles, use the templates provided. Knowledge of how to make animations and edit Google Slides is required. Editable slides may differ in appearance due to some words not being locked down.
