Spanish Descriptions Physical and Personality Traits IPA Novice Mid

This Spanish Descriptions IPA is for Novice Mid to Novice high students. This Spanish IPA will assess students' proficiency for interpretive, presentational, and interpersonal skills on the topic of physical and personality traits and likes/dislikes. Students will interpret 4 short biographies of new classmates, write an email to one of them and then compare themselves to the new classmates.

Proficiency Level: Novice Mid-Novice High

Unit: Identity, Personality, Likes/Dislikes

Scenario: There are 4 new students coming to your school. Before they arrive, your teacher asked them to write a short description to introduce themselves to your class. Read over their descriptions and get ready to meet your new classmates!

Interpretive: Read short biographies of your classmates. (2 versions - with and without images of students to aide in physical descriptions)

Presentational: Describe yourself by writing an email to a classmate.

Interpersonal: Compare and contrast yourself to your classmates.
