Soundtrack of My Life | Writing Project

Imagine your life is a movie. What music would be heard while watching and what would be chosen for the final soundtrack? This four page project will allow help students share their most important memories related to music and is a great way to end music class for the year.

Students will make their knowledge of music personal by identifying title, artist, genre and instruments and then describing the song and why they would include it in their Soundtrack. Visually creative students will love the chance to create an album cover to further communicate the importance of music in their lives.

Use these worksheets as is or as a graphic organizer for their thoughts before writing a final essay in paragraph form. This also makes for a great sub plan if you are out for multiple classes in a row.
