Description

Students sort by size with this cute set of winter objects. They practice ordering by size with six sizes of 10 different winter objects: boot, cardinal, cup of cocoa, mitten, owl, penguin, sled, snowflake, snowsuit, and sweater.

There are also sorting labels for big/large, medium, and little/small.

Sort by Size is a Winter Center activity for early learners. The set of winter images can be used in small groups, at home, or in preschool classrooms. The students practice sorting by size and the sequencing by size.

Winter Size Sort can also be used for sequencing up to 6 cards from smallest to largest or largest to smallest. Number cards 1-6 are also included as mats for sequencing by size.

This size sorting resource should be used as an extension activity after lots of play experiences sorting and sequencing toys and other household objects.

Easy to set up - just print, cut, and laminate. I recommend using card stock for durability. We like using it as a file folder activity or simply placing the cards in a basket for exploratory play. They can also be arranged in pocket charts or add magnets to the back for play at the side of a file cabinet..

Size Sort Winter cards are a great addition to your math center.
