Description
Solving Trigonometric Equations Task Cards
Students will practice solving trigonometric equations with this set of 24 task cards. Cards 1-4 include equations with no identities or factoring required (isolate the expression), cards 5-10 require factoring, cards 11-16 require basic identities (reciprocal, quotient, Pythagorean), cards 17-18 require the sum and difference of angles identities, cards 19-20 require the double angle identities, cards 21-22 require the half-angle identities, and cards 23-24 require the sum-to-product identities. All angles are given in radians.
Students can check their answers by scanning the QR code on each card. Connection to the internet is not required to scan the code, however, a QR scanner app is required on the device. There are several free apps available to download. Cards without QR codes also included should you wish not to use them.
