Solving Rational Equations Scavenger Hunt & Circuit Worksheet
What educators are saying
Description
There are a total of 12 problems, and each problem requires getting a common denominator to solve. Several problems require factoring to get a common denominator or to solve for x.
For this activity, I cut up the half sheets and post them randomly around my room, allowing students to walk around and work in groups. I give students the answer doc and they can start at whatever half sheet they’re closest to. Once they write the answer down, they search for the answer on a different half sheet, write the name of the University and complete the new problem. I love this twist on a basic worksheet because it gets students moving and working with their peers.
I’ve also included the same problems as a circuit worksheet so students who were absent can complete the problems, or you can use this activity as a circuit training for the whole class.
