Description

Your middle school math students will totally master solving one-step inequalities after using this self-checking activity! In this digital pixel art activity, students will complete 10 problems to reveal a mystery pixel art picture! All questions and answers include positive integers. Students will NOT multiply or divide by a negative to change the sign.

Your students will love this mystery picture pixel art activity! This is an engaging activity for your students that requires no prep from you. Students will love guessing what the picture will be.

Here's what is included:

➡️ 10 self-checking one-step inequalities problems

➡️ an answer key

➡️ 2 different sheets - a self-checking and an assessment

How it works:

If they answer correctly a portion of the mystery pixel art picture will appear. If they get it wrong, the cells will not be colored in.

Students can use <, >, >=, or <= when typing the inequality signs in their answers. All operations are included. The answers are coded so that it can be written as x>3 or 3<x.

This pixel art activity will work for both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel!

MICROSOFT NOTE: Once downloaded to excel, the problem pictures may be distorted based on the device and screen size. After you purchase and download this activity, you can adjust the size of the problem pictures to fit in the boxes before giving it to students.
