Description
This product includes a reader's theater script called "The Planets' First Day of School." It includes a script for 9 roles (the sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune). I have also included necklaces to identify the roles. There is a brief worksheet for students to write down what they learned about the planets and the sun. I have used this in my class, and my students loved it! I mounted the cover sheet and scripts to file folders for each reader. I laminated them for durability. This is a great resource for a unit on the solar system, a literacy center, or for fast finishers. Enjoy!
