Full color visuals and brief information card on each include:
1. Order and size of planets
2. Planets orbiting the sun
3. One page for every planet
4. A card for Pluto, the dwarf planet
5. How we see the moon
5. Phases of the moon
6. Seasons, tilt of the earth, Leap Year
(Teaching cards have visuals on one side, and facts for you to read to your kiddos on the back.)
Activities include
1. A project assignment to create your own solar system and report a small amount of information on one planet. (This project is appropriate for older students, but younger ones would be able to complete it with the help of a parent.)
2. Lift a flap, color, glue and learn about the planets activity.
3. KWL sheet
4. Writing prompt
5. Moon phases coloring activity
6. Word search (beginner and advanced)
7. 32 Trivia Question Cards and Answers
8. Game board with spinner, and planet game pieces. (helps reinforce planet names, and order)
