Page numbers include two different fruits as labels for the different student packets: Apples & Oranges.

  1. Apple version: Provides the least amount of support.
    1. Space in the margins for annotations
    2. Questions appear after a chunk of text. 

2. Orange version: Provides the most support. Created with newcomer English learners in mind. This version includes:

  1. Additional visuals embedded in the margins to assist with comprehension
  2. Student-friendly definitions in the margins of the text
  3. Sentence frames for answering text-dependent questions

*PLEASE NOTE: This resource has been created in landscape (11 x 8.5) to allow for more space for the text and students' responses. Students can type all their responses directly in the text boxes in the Google Slides.
