Description
Your students will enjoy learning about the solar eclipse through these crafts! This download includes 2 different crafts. Choose the one that best suits your students. Below are the details of each craft:
1. The first craft is on 1 page, featuring a sun and a moon. Students will cut out both the sun and moon, then secure the moon to the top middle part of the sun with a brad. By rotating the moon away from the sun, students can create an eclipse.
2. The second craft consists of 2 pages. One page features a moon with a rectangle strip and an Earth with a rectangle strip. The other page has a Sun to cut out. Students will first cut out the Sun and Moon and glue them to their connecting strip pieces. Then, they will secure the ends of the 2 strips to the middle of the Earth using a brad, ensuring the Moon is on top. This allows students to move the Moon over the Sun to demonstrate an eclipse over the earth.
