Description

Your social filter makes sure that not all of your thoughts in your head come out of your mouth. Did you know that we have about 6000 thoughts every single day. Sometimes we have good thoughts and sometimes we have not so good thoughts. If we said everything that we were thinking, then some of our comments could be pretty hurtful to others

A social filter can act just like that for our thoughts, it traps all the mean, negative thoughts and lets all the good thoughts through. We can be a better friend, son/daughter, student when we really think about what we want to say so that our thoughts go through the social filter and out our mouth in a positive kind way.

This product includes a set of sorting activity cards with 24 different situations/thoughts for students to sort into: “Keep it in your head”, “Say it out loud" and 5 other activities to go along with the social filter theme with the main goal that individuals can understand the difference between thoughts that are ok to say, thoughts that should be kept to themselves.
